Here are some pictures that were taken of my family in August 2001. I'm glad we took this when we did, because they are the last photos we have of my dad. He passed away in March 2003 at the age of 87. Then, something quite unexpected for all of us, my mom died in May 2004. I guess she couldn't imagine life without my dad for too long. By the time my dad died, my parents had been married for 51½ years, so I guess even 14 months was too long for them to be separated.
